Ogal Privacy Policy

Ogal is designed as a private, on-device AI app. Downloaded AI models, chat history, selected images, recorded audio clips, and offline voice files are intended to stay on the user's device unless the user explicitly shares them outside the app.

Data Ogal accesses

Ogal may access the following data only when the user uses the related feature:

• Text entered in chat: Used to generate local AI replies.
• Images selected or captured by the user: Used for image understanding with supported local models.
• Microphone audio: Used for speech-to-text dictation, recorded audio prompts, and voice features.
• Audio files selected by the user: Used for local audio understanding with supported models.
• Downloaded model and voice files: Stored on device so Ogal can work offline.
• Chat history: Stored locally on device so previous conversations can appear in the app.

Data collection and sharing

Ogal does not currently require an account, login, or signup.

Ogal does not currently send chat text, images, recorded audio, picked audio files, or local chat history to an Ogal server.

Ogal may use internet access to download AI model files, voice files, and app resources requested by the user.

If analytics or crash reporting is added in a future release, this policy will be updated before release to describe what data is collected, why it is collected, whether it is shared with service providers, and what user controls are available.

Permissions

Ogal asks for permissions only for user-visible features:

• Microphone: Speech-to-text dictation, recording short audio prompts, and voice features.
• Camera: Taking pictures for image understanding.
• Photos/files: Picking images or audio files selected by the user.
• Internet: Downloading models, voice files, and app resources.
• Audio settings: Supporting audio playback and device audio routing where required by platform audio APIs.

Data retention

Downloaded models, voice files, and chat history remain on the user's device until the user deletes them, clears app data, or uninstalls Ogal.

Temporary recorded audio clips and selected file references may be stored locally so the current chat message can be processed.

User control

• Delete downloaded models from Settings.
• Clear chat history from the app.
• Remove app data through the operating system.
• Uninstall Ogal to remove app data managed by the system.

Children and age use

Ogal is not directed to children under 13. Users under 13 should not use Ogal without permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
